The start of 2024 to me was a promise to myself to get out and walk more, make the time, find the company and just do it!
There are so many beautiful places on my doorstep here in the South of France that sometimes it's easy to not bother, but god do you feel good when you do!
This walk was from Guéthary to Saint Jean de Luz along the Basque coast line. We parked at the train station in Guéthary and enjoyed an easy coastal walk with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, Spain in the distance and the Pyrenees in the background.
The colours were vidid and inspiring and I took my camera along for the ride. Normally, my subject have people in them so landscape photography is always a new challenge for me, to find the interest and make a slightly new photograph of a view that has been captured many times before. I love this challenge! It grounds and I get to be present in those moments.
